  3. What is the delivery of the mute?

    We aim to deliver your mute within one week, often more quickly, however we can’t guarantee delays through post, etc..

  4. How is the mute packed ?

    To optimally protect the mute it is packaged in a sturdy shipping box, the mute itself takes a flexible sleeve for protection.

  5. I am an amateur, is this mute suitable for me?

    Yes, this mute is designed to have much fun, amateur or professional will experience it.

  6. Is the mute suitable for practicing?

    The mute is ideal for practicing, the delicate balance of resistance makes this mute appropriate to build up your embouchure.

    In normal use, no maintenance is required, it is possible to treat the wood with oil or wax.

  8. I’ve tested a number of mutes and find that there is a mutual difference, why?

    Horn Crafts strives to minimize the difference, the mute is made of wood and therefore will never be 100% the same, because wood is a natural product. That’s good because every musician is different and has his own taste.

  9. What is the cord?

    If you need to quickly switch between open and muted playing it is helpful to hang your mute, so you don’t have to make awkward maneuvers and you can fully concentrate on playing.

  10. I’ve heard of two types of mutes, what does that mean?

    The mutes are build exactly the same but have a mutual difference (remains a secret), you can recognize them by the logo. Black or silver, by trying you can decide which one is the 1 for you.
